About Mel

I'm Melissa, a full-time artist based in Scotland, inspired by wildlife, whimsy, and the beauty of everyday moments. I specialise in original watercolour paintings, professional prints, and offer custom commissions from photos, including pet portraits, people portraits, and charming house portraits. My work often carries a storytelling element, and I love capturing a sense of personality, mood or quiet magic in every brushstroke.

 

After years of dreaming, I left my 9–5 job to pursue art full time, and haven't looked back. Now, you'll often find me painting in my cosy home studio, surrounded by nature, a cup of tea nearby, and usually a curious bird or fox as my muse.

 

Every piece in my shop is created with care and printed professionally, ready to bring a bit of colour and joy to your walls or as a meaningful gift.
